Saludos desde Guatemala , una consulta. Buscamos Distribuidores para nuestros Productos , favor indicarnos o si conocen algunas Distribuidoras interesadas en nuestros Productos – Products that we have : Roses and more Roses Mayan LTD has succesfully traded over 7,000,000 roses in more than 30 popular varieties and stem-lengths, to five countries, over a period of 13 years. We have been helping growers and farmers exporting their roses since 1,997, and our major market is in the southern side of the United States. We fairly trade fresh-from-farm, consumer-ready rose products. We do consumer bunches (no fillers) and bouquet (leather leaf, tree fern, gypsophila) for grocery stores in the US where shelf life should be as extended as possible for less shrinkage and better profits. The new Bonitos are delicious ripe plantains that go perfect as a side dish for almost any meal. They are great right out of the bag, you only need to heat them up on your frying pan, microwave or conventional oven. You can serve with cheese or any spices on top and they are also great as appetizers. Fried plantains are a traditional treat, Plátanos fritos, popular in many countries around the world. The Caribbean cook will often use fried plantains as an accompaniment to beef or breakfast dishes. Try them once and you'll be hooked. Delicious and easy to prepare, Bonitos Plantains are tasty ripe plantains, perfect as a side dish or nutritional snack. What is a Plantain? Plantains are a member of the banana family. They are a starchy, low in sugar variety that is cooked before serving as it is unsuitable raw. It is used in many savory dishes somewhat like a potato would be used and is very popular in Western Africa and the Caribbean countries. It is usually fried or baked. Are plantains healthy? Plantains are naturally high in fiber, potassium and vitamins A and C. Regular plastics take up to 1,000 years to finally fragment and completely degrade. Eco Plastic Bags, with UK's developed Symphony's d2w, control the process and are set to desintegrate harmlessly in a programmed period of time. At the end of its useful life, the plastic turns into a material with a completely different molecular structure. At that stage it is no longer a plastic, and the fragments can be bio-assimilated in the open environment faster than straw and twigs and much faster than ordinary or recycled plastic. d2w has passed the usual eco-toxicity tests and does not contain "heavy-metals." It is certified for direct food-contact. Why plastic still makes sense Plastics are everywhere these days. Not just carrier-bags, but almost everything is wrapped or bottled in plastic - from frozen peas to fresh potatoes. This is because plastic is in most cases the best and most cost-effective way to protect goods from damage, contamination and wastage. Life moves at a much faster pace whether we like it or not. We can no longer buy milk in a jug from the corner shop, and packaging has adapted to modern life. Another reason is that plastic is actually made from a by-product of the refining process of Oil, which will continue to be produced, so, as long as the world needs this type of fuel, it makes good economic and environmental sense to use the by-product instead of wasting it and using scarce land and water resources to grow crops to make plastic. Benefits of Eco Plastic Bags • Plastic takes up a considerable proportion of space in the average landfill. With Eco Plastic Bags, this is reduced in a 99%. • We must recycle plastic, but sadly, it is not enough. We will never collect it all, and some will inevitably find its way into the open environment, where it could lie or float around for up to a thousand years threatening life and the environment. Eco Plastic Bags are set to a especific timeframe before the bag completely disolves into harmless molecules. This is a real, everyday problem, to which we are supplying a solution being used in more than 90 countries worldwide. Mayan is proud to bring you an incredibly smart product, though you wonder why it has not been the norm yet.Eco Plastic Bags use a formulation developed by British Laboratories 'Symphony' called "d2w". We add it to the plastic at the manufacturing stage of the bags making them degrade at the end of a programmable service period of life, by a process of oxo-biodegradation, leaving no harmful residues. We call it "Controlled-life" or "Intelligent" plastic. Guatemalan coffee is revered as one of the most flavorful and nuanced cups in the world. Due to it's proximity, the United States is Guatemala's biggest finest coffees importer in the world. Guatemalan growing regions vary in their potential cup quality: many have sufficient altitude, soil and climate conditions. Antigua Guatemala's are well-known and highly rated. Huehuetenango from the north highland can be exceptional and have distinct fruit flavors. Coban, Fraijanes and Quiche are milder, with less complexity and depth. Atitlan has produced some very fine coffees in the past few years. But the most celebrated and recognized region remains Antigua. Political Inestability in the region have often interfered with the trading of Guatemalan coffee, and more importantly, the shared success of the coffee farmer, great and small. We distribute only Fairly Traded Coffee, purchased from co-ops, smaller farms or single-owner estates. Although a lower-grade, low-grown cheap coffee, produced and sold in huge volumes is also available through giant exporters, we prefer buying Specialty coffee sold from small lots and established farms and co-ops, meaning you are supporting farms and workers in a very direct way. Guatemala imposes a fair established minimum wage for coffee-pickers, and we emphasize on the importance of fair wages on these established farms and co-ops. With the low-grown no-name coffees, it is almost impossible to be certain on this matter. All of the Guatemalan Coffees traded by Mayan are bought directly from the farms, and prices are negotiated with the farmers themselves. We are a certified member of The Green Development Eco-Friendly Partners Organization. Gracias por su amable y pronta respuesta. Saludos cordiales, LIC. JULIO RODOLFO GONZALEZ J. CEO
