Product Description:
   As a thiodiazole derivative, DMTD/DMcT is an acronym for 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole. It is an ashless multifunctional additive in lubricants, for it can not only work as a corrosion inhibitor and metal deactivator, but also function as an EP/AW agent. So it has found wide use in coolant, water-based fluids, metalworking fluids and other lubricants. In addition, it is an important chemical intermediate for lubricant, pharmaceutical, rubber and electrochemistry industries to prepare many products.
